We get it, nobody really likes policies. However, to provide the best customer experience, maintain transparency and integrity as a company, and remain in compliance with evolving requirements, we have done our best to outline our policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in a simple and straightforward manner.
Shipping Policy
- We offer FREE Standard Ground shipping on orders over $99.00 (based on cart sub-total before tax)
- A Flat-Rate Standard Ground shipping fee of $9.95 applies when the minimum amount of $99.00 for the Free Shipping promo is not met
- Free Shipping and Flat-Rate Standard Ground averages between 3-7 days transit time
- We offer expedited shipping options at competitive rates that are calculated during checkout
- The information above only applies to the 48 states in the contiguous U.S. (Alaska & Hawaii shipping charges calculate during checkout)
- Special orders, Hazardous materials, or truck-freight only products quoted separately

Return and Exchange Policy
We offer a 30-day Return and Exchange Policy for products purchased at U.P. Marine Company. The steps to initiate a return or exchange are as follows:
- Step #1 - Request a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number through one of the following options:
- Preferred Method if you have a Customer Account
- Login to your Customer Account
- Click on Orders
- Locate your order and click "Return"
- Select the return product and quantity
- Choose a return reason from the dropdown box
- Choose a method of return payment (store credit or original payment)
- Enter any comments if desired
- Click Submit Return Request to generate your RMA number and an address for return shipping to continue the return process

- PLEASE NOTE: For fastest service with any of these options, please have the following information available:
- Order Number
- Product and Quantity
- Reason for return
- Exchange or Preferred method of refund (original payment or store credit)
- After completing these steps we’ll provide you with a RMA number and return shipping address to continue the return process
- Step #2 – Package and ship the products you wish to return to the address provided during Step IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Product itself must be intact with the original packaging and resalable
- Returned merchandise that appears used, missing product pieces or accessories, or without the original packaging may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%.
- Return shipping fees are the responsibility of the customer – Important to note that many items we ship have high shipping charges we incur (such as trolling motors, radar systems) and those shipping fees will be the responsibility of the customer when returning the product.
- Please ensure efforts are made to ship the returned products back within five (5) business days after receiving the RMA number to expedite your refund.
- Step #3 – Refund Provided with the following IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Once we receive the products back and assuming everything is still in new, “sellable” condition in the original packaging we will issue a refund for the entire amount of returned product(s)
- Refund will be issued the Original Form of Payment or Store Credit depending on the selection you made during Step #2.
- Returned products that are completely unsellable will sent back to you, the customer, and no refund will be provided.
- As mentioned previously, returned merchandise that appears used, missing product pieces or accessories, or without the original packaging may be subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%.
- ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT NOTES ABOUT RETURNS & EXCHANGES:
- Thirty (30) day policy is based on 30 days from the SHIP DATE of the item(s) that are being returned
- Returns or exchanges for items that arrive damaged, missing parts, or are the wrong products must be requested within seven (7) business days of delivery date
- Special order items, software, opened and/or unsealed DVDS, CDs, and cartography are not returnable
- Units requiring service, either warranty or otherwise, should be returned directly to the appropriate manufacturer
- U.P. Marine Company cannot accept product returns or exchanges after 30 days. Please work directly with the manufacture and the applicable warranty guidelines for issues with products after 30 days.
Pricing, Inventory, and Discount Policy
U.P. Marine Company makes every effort to publish accurate pricing and inventory information at www.upmarineco.com. Typically our systems update every 2-3 hours to reflect stock in our warehouses and update the quantities listed on our website. With many factors that can impact our supply chain our pricing and inventory information is subject to change at any time. U.P. Marine Company cannot be held responsible for typographical errors related to products, pricing, promotions or current inventory levels posted on our website or social media networks.
IMPORTANT NOTE: We strongly value our partner agreements and abide by all manufacturer pricing policies which may deem certain products INELIGIBLE for any proposed promotion, discount, or sales event at www.upmarineco.com.

Sales Tax
U.P. Marine Company is required to collect Sales Tax in certain states. By purchasing from www.upmarineco.com you agree to be held solely responsible for maintaining compliance with any applicable federal or state tax laws governing your jurisdiction that requires you, the Customer, to report and pay amounts due for Sales Tax on purchases from U.P. Marine Company.
