Superior Rewards Club FAQ

What are Superior Rewards Points?

  • As a Club Member you earn Rewards Points by making Qualifying Purchases at www.upmarineco.com or by phone with a U.P. Marine Company representative.
  • Every $1 dollar from your Qualifying Purchase Total earns you one (1) Superior Reward Point that accumulates and is converted to Superior Rewards (Store Credit) for future purchases at U.P. Marine Company. 
  • Points are converted to Rewards (Store Credit) at a 5% conversion rate
  • For example 500 points earns you $25 in U.P. Marine Company Rewards (Store Credit)

Is this a Credit Card?

NO. Superior Rewards is not a Credit Card.  We are CLUB!  and we do not provide any type of advanced line of credit, credit checks, or anything related to credit cards.   

What is Store Credit, also referred to as "Rewards"?

The points you earn on Qualified Purchases are converted to Store Credit (also referred to as Rewards or Superior Rewards) that we deposit into your U.P. Marine Customer Account, which is the free account you create to login, check orders, complete returns, and view your Store Credit balance.

How do I use Store Credit?

Store Credit in your Customer Account will automatically show as a payment option during the checkout process, assuming you're logged into your Customer Account.  Any Store Credit that isn't used during a transaction will remain in your Customer Account for future use.  

How do I view my Rewards Balance?

You can view your Store Credit Balance (Rewards Balance) at anytime by logging into your U.P. Marine Company account at www.upmarineco.com  Please note that Points balances (different from Rewards balance) are not available unless requested.  We strive to have the Points converted to Rewards and deposited into your Customer Account as Store Credit as quickly as possible so you can view/use your Rewards without delay.

When do I earn my Points and receive my Rewards?

Points are earned after your Qualified Purchase has completed the payment posting process and we've confirmed availability of items, shipped items, and confirmed delivery to the intended recipient.  Points are then converted immediately to Rewards (Store Credit) that is available for use in your U.P. Marine Customer Account.  Simple as pie!  

Do Points and Rewards Expire?

Your accumulated Points and Rewards will not expire if you renew your membership at least 30 days from the expiration date of your membership (12-months from the date you purchased the Superior Rewards Club Annual Subscription).  U.P. Marine Company will send you a reminder at least 45 days from the expiration with the specific expiration date and available balance of Points and/or Rewards.  

What is a Qualified Purchase Total?

A Qualified Purchase includes your merchandise total and excludes non-merchandise items such as sales tax, payments with existing U.P. Marine Company Store Credit, or additional charges for shipping or truck freight.  See our complete Superior Reward Club Policy guide for details.  HERE.

Here are 3 examples to help explain the Qualifying Purchase Total, how to earn points, and how points are converted to Rewards (Store Credit) in our Superior Rewards Club program.

  • Example Scenario #1:  Your order total is $535 and you pay 100% from your own funding source (Credit/Debit card, Paypal, Apple Pay, etc.).  $35 of the order total is for sales tax.
  • Example Scenario #2:  Your order total is $1,100 and you pay for a portion of the total with a $25 store credit.  $100 of the order total is for state sales tax.
  • Example Scenario #3:  Your order total is now $2,675 after upgrading to expedited shipping for an additional $50 and you’re using $50 store credit to pay for a portion of the order total.
